The GWA Nursery
- Reggio inspired programme for children aged 2 and 3 years
- Leading into an outstanding IB programme from age 3.
- Full day programme from 8:00am - 3:00pm, with an optional early pick up of 1:15pm
Your child’s first step towards an IB continuum education
We combine a modern British curriculum (EYFS) with an IB and Reggio Emilia inspired approach, creating the best opportunities to play, learn and explore. The Reggio philosophy believes in the rights and opinions of each child, seeing each child as a natural researcher who has the desire and knowledge for life and is always ready for challenges.
GEMS World Academy – Dubai is an IB World Academy which delivers the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). The PYP provides a holistic approach to curriculum design and places the child at the centre of the learning process to meet the personal, social, emotional and physical needs of the whole child.
At the age of 3, we offer choice. Your child may need The GEMS World Academy - Dubai Nursery if they require diaper changes and support in toilet training. If your child is ready for rigor and shows a greater level of independence, then they are ready for the IB Pre- KG Programme.

Music
From turning and jumping to carefully controlling the movement of hands and fingers, dance engages all aspects of a child’s physical development. Dancing also awakens the inner creativity in all students, allowing them to hear a piece of music and decide how their body can best respond to it

Listening to a variety of stories and learning how to handle books carefully to improve language skills, boost memory, foster imagination, engage creative thinking, encourage reading and writing, and develop cultural understanding
Stories and Literature
The learning continues after school with Zumba classes, baking classes and messy play
